At a time when most suburban restaurants seem to be falling over themselves to be trendy and casual, it’s good to see there are still some around that still go for high levels of service, decor and furnishings - not too mention good tucker.
That’s what the Everest is all about - linen tablecloths, well dressed and pleasant staff sans “inner urban restaurant attitude'’ and a great range of regional cuisine. Don’t miss the chicken marcani.
There is a wine bar attached to the Everest but give it a miss - like the top of Mount Everest it has little atmosphere.

Boy, some places just keep on keeping on. I lived on that side of town 10 or more years ago and it was a great little secret even back then. I must revisit.
